GUEST SPEAKER

Our special speaker is Mrs. Becky Shook. Becky is the youngest daughter of Brother Bill Boruff, Assistant Pastor of Madison Baptist Church, Madison, Alabama. She grew up as a preacher’s “kid” and loved every minute of it. She has one brother and two sisters who are all serving the Lord. She met her husband, Stephen in Bible college and was married in 1995. After his graduation from college they went to work in their first church, Foothill Baptist Church in Moreno Valley, California. In September of 2006 they moved to Douglasville, Georgia to serve at The King’s Way Baptist Church. Becky is an accomplished musician both on the organ, piano, and voice. She also teaches piano lessons and ladies Sunday School classes. She has four children: Nathan – 13, Breanna – 12, Austin – 6, and Erica – 1.  Her life verse is Psalm 73:28 - “But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.”
